This Couple Found an Amazing Way To Feel More Connected Over Vast Distances

Often it’s the kiss of death: the dreaded long distance relationship. Also know as GUD (geographically undesirable), the long distance relationship is almost guaranteed to fail over time.

Part of the reason is that humans are wired to naturally feel closer to people they are CLOSE TO. Proximity is essential when it comes to relationships. We like to be close to the people we are close to.

However, as we become a more globalized culture, distance is part and parcel to relationship.

So this couple’s unique solution has created a really sweet way to “feel” more connected – by connecting visually.

As the world becomes more global, relationships have to become more accommodating to the realities of a global world.

I assert that feeling connected is more of a state of mind than a state of physical location. Two people can live together and feel worlds apart. Two people can live apart and feel like they are in it together.
